Having watched too many episodes of Grand Designs we approached the prospect of appointing builders with some trepidation.
Based on recommendations from our Architect Barbara Griffin-Wright we invited a tender from C. Ratcliffe Builders Ltd. How fortunate we were to have been introduced to Christian Ratcliffe and Dan Mutti. Before submitting the tender, they gave excellent advice which we took on board. During the construction the Ratcliffe team (including Salty, Ryan, Lee, Reece, Jak, Ady, Jordan and their colleagues) were considerate, helpful and always double-checked decisions. Issues on site (there are always some) were always explained to us with solutions drawing on their expertise. Nothing was too much trouble.
They delivered on time and to the budget. But more importantly they have created a house and garden which surpasses our expectations. We fully endorse and recommend Ratcliffe Builders – if you want skilled craftsmen who always have a smile on their faces – don’t look any further.
